What FCA Does
|
Funeral
Consumers Alliance of Central Ohio provides information about
end-of-life issues to individuals through consumer education outreach,
including group presentations, printed materials, personal consultations,
local price surveys and membership benefits. To do this we monitor
the meetings of the
State
Board of Embalmers and
Funeral Directors and routinely survey the costs and activities of
central Ohio funeral homes to provide the public with cost comparisons
and to determine compliance with Federal Trade Commission regulations.
|
|
In addition, FCACO
is able to negotiate favorable terms with select funeral establishments
(due to our large membership). FCACO members choose the arrangements
they desire in advance.
